  • Scoring

Penalty Strokes

  • Triggering a game slam tilt that affects other players will result in the maximum number of strokes for the hole/game being assigned to offending player. A second offense could result in disqualification from the tournament.
  • Playing another player’s ball will result in the maximum number of strokes for the hole/game being assigned to the offending player.
  • Excessive abuse of a game (kicking, hitting, punching, lifting, dropping, etc) may result in disqualification of the tournament.
  • Death saves / bang backs will not be allowed, and a ball saved using those techniques must be immediately drained. If a player does this a second time, it will result in the maximum number of strokes for the hole/game being assigned to the offending player. Additional offenses may result in disqualification from the tournament.

Rules of Play

  • Please be patient as groups wait for their next hole to be available.
  • All Pin machines (holes) will have extra balls disabled. If an Extra Ball is accidentally awarded, that ball will be counted as their 2nd “shot” for that hole. Groups MUST inform the Tournament Director before playing such extra ball.
  • Some machine’s Par Score may be more difficult, while others may be more easily attainable.
  • Once the player reaches the Par score, such player will stop playing, the ball in play is to be left to drained, and all subsequent players proceed to their next ‘shot’.
  • Once any player obtains the Par score, that player's subsequent ball(s) are plunged and verified drained by such player, to make ready for the next player to proceed.
  • After all players have obtained their score, that group will then proceed to the next pinhole in chronological order.

Player Delays

  • Since this is a one-day tournament, things need to keep moving without significant delays in order for there to be enough time to complete the tournament. Please stay close to other tournament players in your group and keep an eye on the score board.
  • If a player notifies the other players in advance of a brief absence or bathroom break before the start of a game/hole, they will have 10 minutes to return to the game before it starts without them. This is to help keep the tournament on schedule. Repeated absences/delays must be reported to tournament officials and may result in disqualification from the tournament.
  • If a player is missing without advance notice and does not appear for their turn, they have 3 minutes starting from when the ball enters the shooter lane for their turn before the ball on their turn will be plunged and drained. This is to help keep the tournament on schedule. If the missing player re-appears, they can play the remaining balls in their turn, but the balls previously plunged on their turn will count as strokes as if they were played. Repeated delays/absences must be reported to tournament officials and may result in disqualification from the tournament.
  • If a player quits or is unable to continue playing in the tournament, please notify a tournament official.

These rules are a guide. At times situations will arise that aren’t specifically covered by these rules. In these cases, the Tournament Admin should make a decision in the spirit of the rules. This decision shall be documented for later reference, and be applied consistently should the situation arise again.
